Paul Kerr
Paul was born in 1965 in Dungannon and from an early age has been, in his own words, "Obsessed with Art". He would fill sketchbooks every day during his school years often borrowing styles from the Great Masters into his own Compositions until he eventually won an Art Competition aged 17. Having turned down the offer of a place in Art College, Paul did not paint again for a decade, and it was not until his late 20's that he returned to his first love, and picked up his brush again, "an older and wiser man".
Paul says that his inspiration now is the same that is has always been - The Illustrated Children's Books he adored as a child, and it is these that give his paintings their dreamlike charm.
