John Kelly
Born in Belfast in the late 30's, John Kelly's interest in the arts was embraced and nurtured from an early age.
As a keen traveller he found himself unable to settle in one area for too long, soon he relocated himself to County Kerry where he found himself spending more and more of his time painting the old Irish rural landscapes which fascinated him. It is these works that have now catapulted him into the art scene.
His works are as far strewn as America and Australia can be found in exclusive galleries both in the North and South of Ireland.
Kelly's work has often been compared to that of the great Irish Artist Markey Robinson who is renowned for his rural landscapes. This "Markey style" which is indeed highly acclaimed for its originality has earned Kelly his distinction as an Irish artist.
