Rae Flack
Born at Oakham in the county of Rutland, Rae Studied printed textiles at Manchester Metropolitan University for 3 years and graduated with a BA (Honours) in 1994. She worked for one year as a freelance designer in London for the fashion market, selling her designs in Japan and America. She then took up a design post in Bombay India.
On moving back to the UK, she settled in Northamptonshire a few years ago. She has exhibited locally at many exhibitions including Kettering Open and Wellingborough Open as well as a recent solo exhibit at The Castle in Wellingborough in September 2002.
The inspiration for that exhibition came from a recent trip to Brazil where her work captured the colour and spirit of the country and the magical light and wonderful landscape through her brightly coloured acrylics.
